India vs South Africa: Ajinkya Rahane Slams Test Ton at Home After Three Years

The vice captain of India, Ajinkya Rahane, took out his 11th ton of test in the third test against South Africa in Ranchi on Sunday. The mid-order hitter hit a bright 115 of 192 balls and was at his best fluency when he hit 17 four and six in his innings.

During his majestic ton, Rahane ended his three-year drought for a ton at home. The last time he reached a century in India was in 2016 when he got 188 against New Zealand in Indore in 2016. In addition, this was his fourth ton at home, compared to seven abroad.

Recently, in the Test against the West Indies series, Rahane had taken a ton of evidence after two years, when he had a century in Antigua.



Regarding the current match, Rahane and Rohit Sharma rescued India from a difficult situation. After being 39/3 in one stage, the duo combined well and added 267 races together to put India in a strong position.

Before Rahane, Rohit also took out his sixth ton in Tests, and the third in the current series.
