Justin Langer Unsure if Steve Smith Wants Australia Captaincy Back

Steve Smith’s ban on leading Australia ends in March, but the star hitter may not want to recover the Captaincy of the Test, says coach Justin Langer.

Smith dodged the team until he was suspended for 12 months for a blatant attempt to alter the ball with sandpaper under his surveillance in Cape Town last year.

Part of his punishment included an exile of one more year of any leadership role.
