IPL 2020: Team Kohli and Team Chahal battle in the intra-squad practice session of RCB
The 13th edition of the Indian Premier League is going to set the dazzling action in just two days, and fans are already on edge of their seats. For Virat Kohli and his men, the journey of IPL will kick off on 21st September, and the squad is sweating day and night in order to achieve the best. Before the real extravaganza unfolds, teams are just busy giving their final touch to the practice.
In the same light, Royal Challengers Bangalore played a warm-up match on Thursday, September 17th, to get on with their intense forms before the actual match. The team was divided into two, where one was led by skipper Kohli himself, whereas star spinner Yuzvendra Chahal led the other one from the front. Despite being a practice match, cricketers put their best foot forward to flaunt class and skills.
The practice match and all behind the scene stories were shared on the official Twitter of RCB in a video form. The interesting video came up with the caption– “Bold Diaries: RCB Intra Squad Practice Match. With our 1st match of #Dream11IPL just 4 days away, the team played a practice game where Team Chahal took on Team Kohli.”

RCB haven’t had a great stint so far in the IPL
In the video, RCB Director Mike Hesson and head coach Simon Katich can be seen discussing about the practice session things. Chahal also came up to tell about his experience and excitement ahead of IPL 2020. Various players were seen giving their bytes in the video to make it all the more interesting and authentic. The reason behind this activity was to provide real match feels before the actual event begins.
It becomes important to test the fitness and forms of players when they are touching the field after a gap of six long months. Though RCB haven’t had a great stint so far in the IPL, they look all motivated and fresh for this season to put up the best show.
The franchise will play its first match against Sunrisers Hyderabad in Dubai at Dubai International Stadium. The first match is set to take place between the two heavyweights CSK and MI on September 19th.
