IPL 2020: 3 Players you can exclude from your Dream11 team for RCB vs MI game
Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians have been two of the most popular sides in the IPL. While Mumbai Indians has backed their hype and popularity with 4 titles, RCB hasn’t been able to able to go beyond the finals. This match between the two sides is bound to be a feisty one with a number of characters in both the teams. Mumbai has always started the tournament slowly and a win in their second game is better than earlier seasons. They are a team which knows how to make comebacks.
RCB, on the other hand, have had 3 poor seasons on the trot. A lot was expected of them in this season but their death bowling has once again been poor and apart from AB de Villiers and Yuzvendra Chahal nobody has fired yet. The teams have a number of big players who are bound to do well.
Here are 3 players you can exclude from your Dream11 team for RCB vs MI game:
1. Dale Steyn (8.5 credits)
Dale Steyn has been extremely underwhelming in the two games he has played. While he picked 1 wicket for 33 runs in the first game, he went for almost 60 runs in the second game against KXIP. In both the games he has looked ineffective. He isn’t the great bowler he used to be and has been lacking in variations as well as pace. It will be sensible to not include him for this match.
2. Krunal Pandya (8.5 credits)
Krunal Pandya is one player who hasn’t done much for the Mumbai Indians. While he gave away 37 runs in his 4 over quota in the first game picking a sole wicket, he bowled only 1 over in the second game. He has also looked uncomfortable with the bat not being able to get into any kind of rhythm. He has been a good player for MI but in this season looks badly out of form and shouldn’t be persisted with.
3. Aaron Finch (9 credits)
While Finch hasn’t out rightly failed in the tournament with scores of 29 and 20, he has looked unconvincing at the crease. He has neither been able to rotate the strike well nor hit the big boundaries at will like he usually does. He might have a hard time against quality pace of Mumbai. Add to that, in this match there are a number of top quality top order batsmen playing. Hence it would be advisable to go for them rather than Finch.
