‘Coming from a guy who did face surgery to look young’ – Marlon Samuels responds to Shane Warne’s ‘Need help’ comment on him
West Indies cricketer Marlon Samuels has continued responding to the criticism coming his way after his derogatory response to Ben Stokes‘ quarantine comment. He had also taken a dig at former Australia cricketer Shane Warne at the same time. After knowing about the same, the legendary leg-spinner had slammed Samuels for dragging Stokes’ wife into the matter and had termed him as an ordinary cricketer.
Also, Warne had said that Samuels doesn’t have any friends while his ex-teammates also don’t like him. He had also claimed that the West Indies cricketer needs some serious help.
“I’ve just been sent what Samuels has posted re @benstokes38 & I. It’s a very sad situation as he obviously needs serious help-but has no friends at all & not even his ex teammates like him. Just because you were an ordinary cricketer-no need to be an ordinary person. Get help son,” Warne had tweeted.

However, now Marlon Samuels has responded to his friend from Australia in a not so good way reminding him of his face surgery. “haha I need help. Is this coming from the first cricketer to do a face surgery to look young,” Samuels wrote in his Instagram story and also posted the picture of it on his profile.
Marlon Samuels-Warne rivalry
The rivalry between Marlon Samuels and Shane Warne goes back a long way when they were playing the Big Bash League (BBL). In one of the matches, playing for Melbourne Renegades, Samuels came in the way of Melbourne Stars’ David Hussey blocking him from taking a second run.
In the same match, during the second innings Shane Warne pulled Samuels with his jersey while slamming him for his earlier gesture. The banter didn’t stop here, Warne threw the ball towards the Caribbean in the next over to test his patience. In response, Samuels had then threw his bat in the air and the scenes in the field were ugly with both the on-field umpires intervening to settle the matter.
However, Samuels hasn’t forgotten anything it seems and is not backing down in this case as well. After Ben Stokes, he has now locked horns against Shane Warne and the tussle might not end soon.
